Elly and Mommys Belly!

It's not everyday that a tall, gorgeous pregnant lady waltzes into your studio with her beautiful family, but last week it happened to me!

Stacey wanted to have some photos taken before their new baby is born, so the whole family came in for some maternity/family/Elly pics to mark the end of the pregnancy and the beginning of their life as a family of four. :) Elly was such a fun little girl to photograph...and you have NO idea how much she loved those petticoats! I look forward to seeing her again after her brother is born. :)

Good luck, guys! :)

Welcome Baby Alex!

I am so happy to announce that my good friends, Natalie and Shane, have recently experienced the life altering occasion of the birth of their first child! :) They brought baby Alex to see me last week, and he was just a few days old. His belly button hadn't even fallen off yet!!!! Alex is one of those little babies that looks like he already knows what's going on. I think he must be an old soul.... ;)

Congrats friends! xo

100% Boy!

Evan and his family were in to see me recently for some family photos, and it was great to see them all again! Evan was thrilled to see a few Thomas the tank engines in my box of tricks (I swear I know nothing about boy-toys...thank goodness for my friend Carolyn who hooks me up and keeps me in the know! lol!) Those little trains have saved my bacon a few times!

As you can see from the photos, he has a great personality, and has a great range of expressions, so once again, he makes my job very easy indeed! :)

Something New (and gorgeous!!!!)

I have to share my newest favorite thing in the photographic world....canvas gallery wraps! These are so unbelieveably beautiful, I had to get one for myself to see what I thought of it in person, before I offered it to my clients. All I can say is that I was blown away by how beautiful it was in person, and I am so excited to have these wraps available to my clients. Each gallery wrap comes in any custom size you like, and comes ready to hang on the wall. It's professionally finished, and is guarenteed to hange beautifully in your home for more than a century!

Here is the 20x24 gallery wrap I ordered for my own home....

I swear, you just have to see this thing in person! Did I mention I love it? :)

Congratulations Melissa and Mike!

Melissa and Mike were in a month or so back for some maternity photos, and I wanted to post a few photos of their newborn baby boy, Dominic! (I hope I spelled that right!) Dominic was only 11 days old in these photos, but he was as good as gold, already posing for his first photo op! :)

Little Landon

I always tell parents how much I love the six month session, but Landon was a perfect example of why. At this age, they are so darn cute, and so willing to hang out and show some personality for the camera. They make it so easy to create a great photo!

Drew

I had little experience with the milestone of First Communion until Barb brought her daughter in to see me last year for a photo shoot. She looked like a little bride! It was just beautiful, and I was surprised to hear that most folks don't have a photo session done to mark the occasion.

Well, since Barb had her daughter photographed, she just HAD to bring in her son Drew for his first communion as well! ;) Drew looked so handsome in his suit, and he was a great model. If I am ever looking for a kid his age to model clothing for me, Drew will be first on my list!

Congrats Drew! :)

Ben & Jamie ~ June 9, 2007

Ben and Jamie got married a few weeks ago in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the home of Bens parents in Castleton. When we did their engagement photos there last fall, I knew it was going to be an awesome spot for wedding photos, and it really was. The ceremony was lovely, and it was so adorable to see Ben and Jamies two sons running down the aisle ahead of the bridesmaids. It's beautiful when children can play a part in their parents wedding day, and the boys were so good...they even tolerated more photos than they probably wanted to. Luckily they were so good-natured!
It was a blast working at the Keeler Centre, where I got a chance to talk to Donna Rusaw who coordinates all the events there. They put on a beautiful reception, and it really is nice to see such excellent services available in my own town (Colborne!). I love it when I can drive home from a wedding reception in less than 2 minutes! :)
Congratulations Ben and Jamie! I wish you both many years of happiness together! Thank you for allowing me to share in your day!
