Elly and Mommys Belly!

It's not everyday that a tall, gorgeous pregnant lady waltzes into your studio with her beautiful family, but last week it happened to me!

Stacey wanted to have some photos taken before their new baby is born, so the whole family came in for some maternity/family/Elly pics to mark the end of the pregnancy and the beginning of their life as a family of four. :) Elly was such a fun little girl to photograph...and you have NO idea how much she loved those petticoats! I look forward to seeing her again after her brother is born. :)

Something old...

Naomi came back to me recently to take some photos of her in a dress that her mom wore when she was a little girl. Naomi's great, grandmother made it for Naomi's mom, and this little dress has great significance to the family. It is amazing how current the dress looks today, and knowing that it is such a special item to the family makes me thrilled that I could help them to remember it, and the Grandma who made it so many years ago.
