OH BABIES! Double Maternity :)

I got a call from a Mom recently with a request I don't hear every day! It turns out that both of her daughters are pregnant, and due within 7 weeks of each other! She requested a double maternity session for her girls, to commemorate this amazing time in their lives. I met both ladies this afternoon, and we had so much fun creating some fun images. Marsha is expecting a girl, and Krista is expecting a boy, so as long as those ultrasounds were correct, we will have the appropriate colours for the babies' rooms! :) Thanks for being so much fun ladies, and I look forward to seeing you both again with your newest bundles of joy! :)

Yummy Mommy (and Daddy) -to-be!

I got a call from Melanie last week to inquire about maternity photos. When I inquired when her due date was, she admitted it was in less than 2 weeks!!! We really had to hustle them in to get the job done before the new babe made its way into the world!

This couple was so easy going, and they were absolutely fantastic to work with, and very patient with me while I played 'mad scientist' in the studio! :)

Elly and Mommys Belly!

It's not everyday that a tall, gorgeous pregnant lady waltzes into your studio with her beautiful family, but last week it happened to me!

Stacey wanted to have some photos taken before their new baby is born, so the whole family came in for some maternity/family/Elly pics to mark the end of the pregnancy and the beginning of their life as a family of four. :) Elly was such a fun little girl to photograph...and you have NO idea how much she loved those petticoats! I look forward to seeing her again after her brother is born. :)

Hot Mamma!

Often times I am not able to share my clients maternity photos, as they tend to be of a more personal nature. However, I begged Karen to let me share at least this one photo of her from her maternity set last week. I love this photo so much, and it is just one of dozens of gorgeous photos of her, her hubby and their baby belly. They were so adventurous, they literally came into the studio saying: "You can do whatever you want with us..." :) Now that's the kind of direction I love to hear during a maternity session. Thanks guys! Can't wait to meet the baby!!!

Yummy Mommy! (and Daddy too!)

I met Amber and Kevin a few years ago, and was thrilled to hear that they are now expecting their first baby next month! They recieved a gift certificate for maternity photos, and we got together last week to get the job done before that baby made it's grand appearance.

They were a fantastic couple, and willing to try new ideas, which always results in some great photos. I want to thank you both for being brave (and half naked!) and also for being generous enough to let me share your photos in my blog. I am very proud of them, and I can't wait to meet your new family member. (I say girl, and I'm right about 50% of the time! LOL!)
