Baby Addison ~ 13 Days

I had a little visitor last week....a very little visitor! Her Mommy and Daddy were in my studio in March to have their maternity portraits done, and we discussed then how nice it was to bring the newborn back for 'squishy' baby photos. Baby Addison was only 13 days old here, and she was such a little doll. Kevin and Ambers little beauty also holds the record for the most poops into her daddy's waiting hands....3. :) She had great aim, and luckily, Daddy was ready for her. Here are a few from her fantastic session last week. As you can see, she's a real natural already!

Fresh Faced Beauties!

I ran into an old friend at a department store a month or so back, and was thrilled to hear that she is now a very accomplished makeup artist. Being the opportunist that I am, I asked her if she wanted to get together and shoot some stuff, her makeup, and my models. She obliged, and I am so stoked that I found her! Her name is Janis Ireland and she does fantastic work.

I was lucky enough to work with 2 of my favorite models, Caitlyn and Jenna. Jenna is a great friend of mine, and fellow photographer who is as awesome behind the camera as she is in front of it! If you follow my blog, you will recognize her from a few previous shoots we've done together. Incidently, it is her birthday today, so Happy 19th, Caitlyn!!! :) Thank you both for coming and being such excellent subjects!

My Big Girl :)

Sometimes things get very busy in the photo-taking department, and I tend to neglect my own little subjects. Most of the time they are not interested in having me take their photos ("GET that thing out of my face, MOM!), but occasionally, there will be a shred of interest from one or the other. Since her baby sister is getting lots of attention from being in a body cast, my older daughter was wanting to be noticed too. She found my new stash of petticoats (LOVE them!!!) and decided that it was time for some new photos. Here she is, modelling a couple of them. I have fusia, light pink, blue, teal and white, and they are soooo cute with the kiddies!

I love it when a plan comes together! I get a model and some timeless pics of my oldest baby! :)

Sisters

Madelyn and Carlie came to see me last week for the first time. As soon as I saw Carlie, I knew I had to try out some of my new paper backgrounds on her. That hair, the outfit...it was perfect! Miss Madelyn was less excited to be in front of the lens, but in the end she warmed up to the experience! Thanks for bringing them in, Kris!

Brian and Deb ~ April 14, 2007

It was a very fun diversion last month when I photographed Brian and Debra's wedding in Port Hope. It was a beautiful wedding, and it was nice to be around so many friends. It isn't often that I get to enjoy a wedding like a guest is able to, but I was so glad to be there to see such amazing people be united in marriage. Brian and Deb, thankyou for sharing your day with me, for your kindness and for including me as a friend, and not just as an employee! I wish you all the best, and I know you will have so much happiness together! :)
