So what are YOU doing Saturday, March 23rd at 7pm?
I want to urge everyone who is interested to go to ENSS on March 23rd to vote for our hometown girl, Mitzi, who is competing in the first leg of her journey to be THE Northumberland Idol. It's the semi-finals, and Mitzi's in it to win it, for the title, the sash and ALLLLL the bragging rights!
I met Mitzi a couple of years ago, behind the counter of her family's business, Sunnyside Meats,(BEST MEAT EVER!!!!) and I'm happy to be able to put the word out for her. She's a great kid, a fantastic singer and she deserves your vote!!! :)
Here's a couple of pics I asked her to send me, so everyone would know a)how cute she is and b)who they are voting for.....
Since you're here, leave Mitzi some love in the blog! :)
Go Mitzi, Go!!!! :)

Yummy Mommy! (and Daddy too!)
I met Amber and Kevin a few years ago, and was thrilled to hear that they are now expecting their first baby next month! They recieved a gift certificate for maternity photos, and we got together last week to get the job done before that baby made it's grand appearance.
They were a fantastic couple, and willing to try new ideas, which always results in some great photos. I want to thank you both for being brave (and half naked!) and also for being generous enough to let me share your photos in my blog. I am very proud of them, and I can't wait to meet your new family member. (I say girl, and I'm right about 50% of the time! LOL!)

Darcie and her belly button
The last time I saw Darcie was before Christmas, and I had a heck of a time trying to make her smile. I'm not sure she even gave one up at all when she was here with her brother in December. Apparently, she is not quite so shy when she's on her own, as you can see. Mom and Grandma brought her in for her 2nd birthday photos, and I'm glad to announce that all it took to get a good smile was a mention of her belly button. Now...getting her to keep her belly button covered? That was a whole other story! LOL!

Miss Mollie...
Just a few of my favorite stylist from Studio One, Mollie Miron. She does awesome hair, updos and cut and colours, but who knew she was such a Divalicious model! ;)
Work it, own it....
I am using one of these photos of Mollie for my Northumberland Kids ad this month. I think more women should be photographed for no other reason than because they can be! Give me a call if you need some help finding your own Diva....

Cindy and Greg ~ February 24, 2007
I met Cindy quite a while ago when she came for a portrait session. She had mentioned her boyfriend way back when, so I was thrilled to hear that a wedding was in the works, and that they were hiring me for the photos. I knew Cindy was going to be a gorgeous bride, but I had no idea that she had such a handsome, fire-fighting groom! :) The wedding party was a lot of fun, and very patient with my freezing-cold wedding day demands....Thanks guys!
Cindy and Greg were escorted from the church in a big, beautiful Quinte Fire Truck, and we were lucky enough to have some time outside to take photos with it, when we arrived for photos at Connon Nurseries. I love it when the bride and groom plan an unusual getaway!!!

Paula and March ~ November 18, 2006
I have been meaning to post photos from Paula and March's wedding for MONTHS!!! I have had people ask me when the wedding is, and I can't believe I haven't posted about it yet!!! I had one of the best times I've ever had at a wedding, and it was so much fun to see a dear friend marry her best friend. It was strange to be the wedding photographer, since I was having so much fun, surrounded by so many old friends. I wished I could have stayed all night, because it was the wildest party I had ever seen! The dancing started around 9ish, and the dancefloor went crazy right from the beginning. The DJ was amazing, so if you are reading this, Paula, please post his name and number for the folks at home! ;)
Here's a few from the day....
The ceremony was at The Old Mill in Toronto, which was a beautiful spot to have a wedding, but truly is the darkest chapel known to man. It was beyond dark in there....I'm not kidding. You can't really tell from the pics, but it was dark. Are you getting the idea on the darkness issue here? LOL!
...and just for giggles, here's a few that illustrate how much fun it was to be on the dancefloor with this party....at 9pm!
Thanks for allowing me to share in your day, Paula and March. It was truly a pleasure and an honour! xo
